MIDI Routing in FL Studio

You need to route the MIDI output of the CodeFN42 plugin to the desired VST instrument. We will use Chordz and Sylenth in this example, but the basic procedure is the same, no matter which CodeFN42 plugin and VST instrument you use.

  1. Add Chordz to a new channel. Click the VST wrapper settings button to open the 'Wrapping Settings' panel.
  2. Set 'Output port' to 1.
  3. Add Sylenth to another channel. Click the VST wrapper settings button to open the 'Wrapping Settings' panel.
  4. Set 'Input port' to 1.
Note: You can use any port number, but both the output and input port number must be the same, and it must be unique (not used by other plugins).
  5. Activate the Chordz channel, and play something on your keyboard. The notes you play should be sent to Chordz, and the output from Chordz sent to Sylenth.
